BCCI hikes reserve price for title sponsorship deal

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has increased the reserve prices for its title sponsorship and associate partner rights as it begins a fresh bidding process for the next commercial cycle,f reported by The Economic Times. As per the report, the base price for title sponsorship has been raised by more than 15% to Rs 4.9 crore per match, up from the ₹4.2 crore per match paid by incumbent sponsor IDFC First Bank. The reserve price for associate partner rights has also increased to ₹95 lakh per match from ₹82 lakh. The new title sponsorship cycle will run until March 2028 and is expected to include around 35 international matches, with the total value at the reserve price estimated at ₹169.8 crore.
